As I understood it, selling online vs having an agent at your place bringing potential buyers.

A simple search will give you the answer.

What do you do if you're looking at buying a property in oz?

You go to Rea dot com or domaine depending on what state you live in.

They cost a fortune for the vendor to list. In Qld it's $1500 for 6 weeks listing and 150 for domaine. Probably the opposite in NSW.

I would use realestate.com.au as they cover the whole country as is probably the most widely used site. Only problem is I think only agents can advertise, so a competing site would be required. If you're confident of selling your place, $1,500 is peanuts compared to the agent's commission.
