Spoke with someone today who subscribes to Weiss Ratings reports: http://www.weissratings.com/

He said that the Weiss D ratings meant companies are near death and those rated E are clinically dead. Apparently many of the large European banks are rated around that mark... mentioned Barclays, Llyods, RBS, Credit Suisse, Deutschebank and one or two others... tick tick tick...

It will take a good break below 1900 to confirm that the US market is having nothing more than a 'normal' correction in its current uptrend, This would then be followed by new highs.
