Safeload - Another variation on Hebel wall panels

3 posts in this topic

Found this company the other day, Safeload Wall Systems. They are using a variation of CSRs Hebel panels. Rather than building using the blocks, or their lightweight panels attached to a traditional frame, these are reinforced loadbearing wall panels that are put up as a self supporting single skin wall.

Obviously having never used the product, I can't vouch for them, but I though that this looked like an interesting method of building a masonary house quickly, and a nice more energy efficient alternative to brick veneer. Hopefully the speed with which the walls can be put up lowers the labour cost, and would give you a nice quality house for a low price.

Although I'm sure I saw one on The Inventors a few years ago, so there are people working on the idea.
