  1. I'll tell you something. As I'm reading this forum and looking at your post, I would swear that it was 90% English.
  2. I don't get the NBN option: "The National Broadband Network is a commercial enterprise. It has no effect on the budget" How so?
  3. Sweet. I saved 37 billion. Just call me the Iron Prick.
  4. Who else benefits from this? Banks taking subsidised interest payments? How much would it hurt the banks if NG is scrapped?
  5. I'm no expert, but I think you would need to weigh it against any additional tax raked in by sustaining higher property prices, directly and indirectly. Not justifying or supporting it, but I don't think it's as simple as that. Nothing to do, of course, with the fact that many politicians include property in their investment portfolio...
  6. Looks like their figures are purely based on historic data. "This area has grown by > 7.2% per year over the last 5 years, so it will double in value in the next 10!"

  8. Nice one
  9. Maybe give the bubble bursting a nudge now so that the incoming Coalition government (if polls are to be believed) cops the brunt if it...
  10. Isn't disposable income calculated before mortgage repayments? Still... point taken.
  11. Is this a real possibility? Surely this carries (no pun intended) significant exposure to exchange rates... What if the JPY rises despite the BOJ's efforts? What if the AUD crashes on the heels of a hard landing in China?
  12. Old campaign, but some people here might appreciate it. http://www.tbwa.com/#gsi121ci5b0q
